Such a busy week! A new year, a new semester... lots on the go! Is it really mid-January already ???
But Sal
and I made time for an appointment at a travel medicine clinic to get
our vaccinations and prescriptions to prep for our trip to Costa Rica...
Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid Fever, Malaria ...and (not to be
indelicate), some meds for the can't-be-ignored "Montezuma's Revenge".
I'd say we're well-protected now... but it wasn't without
discomfort (they had a big jar of lollipops there, probably to soothe children... and
wimps like me, LOL!). My love of travel trumps my aversion to
needles. Oh, the things I do to see the world !!!
