Oops! The postal service has messed up. According to an Associated Press report, the new American Scientists series of postage stamps, set for release on March 6, contains a scientific error. One of the four stamps, featuring celebrated biochemist Gerty Cori, has an error in the chemical structure that's pictured with her.
The postal service plans to issue the stamp anyway. Sorry, Dr. Cori.
