A bright future has begun today for America ...
Like many of you I'm sure, I watched Barack Obama's inauguration as the 44th U.S. President earlier today. What a proud moment! I sincerely hope that this will usher in a new era of inclusion for our country, leaving behind a dark past of racial injustice and hatred. And the pain and suffering that so many endured because of it.
Today a man of African heritage became the American President on the steps of the U.S. Capitol that was so inhumanely built by slaves. How incredible is that?
